Dr. Michael Anvari is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon, fellowship-trained in the subspecialty of joint replacement. He joins The Centers for Advanced Orthopaedics Anne Arundel Orthopaedic Surgeons with over 14 years of clinical experience. He has a special interest in hip and knee joint reconstruction, including direct anterior total hip replacement, total and partial knee replacement, and revision procedures, with computer navigation and robotics expertise, and rapid rehabilitation protocols.
Dr. Anvari became interested in orthopaedics and joint replacement because of the immense satisfaction of alleviating pain and restoring quality of life to his patients. Dr. Anvari wants his patients to return to the activities that keep patients active.
A native of Towson, Maryland, Dr. Anvari resides in Annapolis, MD with his wife, son and daughter. Dr. Anvari joins Anne Arundel Orthopaedic Surgeons to become a part of a close community in which he can take a personal approach to caring for his patients orthopaedic concerns.
